The bathroom was great, with both a bath and a shower! I loved having the option to relax in the tub after a long day. As a business traveler, this extra luxury definitely made me feel pampered.

Personally, I preferred the bathroom with the bath over the one with just the shower.

We had a great value for our money at Lees Moor Cottage. The room was beautifully refurbished, well-equipped, and the beds were super comfortable. The location was fantastic, with easy access to great walks and sightseeing spots. Plus, the staff treated us really well.

The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be to offer a wider variety of options.

of a Mind-blowing Stay at Lees Moor Cottage

From the moment we arrived at this characterful cottage, we were blown away by its comfort and charm. It was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. The location was jaw-dropping, with breathtaking views of Rowsley Wood and easy access to explore the stunning Peak District. The cottage provided a warm and cozy haven, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen, equipped with an amazing range cooker, was a chef's dream. We were pleasantly surprised by the ample space and comfort of the beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The welcome pack added a thoughtful touch to our stay. We loved being able to embark on walks to nearby attractions, avoiding the need for driving. The local pub and shopping village were conveniently within walking distance, providing delicious food and drinks. Although the road could get busy during the day, the peaceful nights made up for it. The closure of the old mill and convenience store was a small disappointment, but luckily, a nearby convenience store was only a 5-minute drive away. our stay was absolutely fantastic, with an array of pros that made it truly memorable.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the cottage, with its cozy furnishings and lovely touches of country style. It felt like stepping into a peaceful retreat, perfect for us senior folks. The general areas were also very well-kept and clean, making it easy for us to navigate around. Additionally, I appreciated the thoughtful accessibility features in place, such as handrails and well-lit stairways, which made it easier for me to move around without any worries.

If there was one thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people, it would be more assistance from the children working there. While the cottage itself was wonderful, a little more help with carrying our bags or providing some guidance on local attractions would have been appreciated.
